Affected by COVID-19?
A self-help guide to managing the effects of the COVID-19 virus and where to turn to if you need further advice.
The Allied Health Professionals of Dumfries and Galloway have developed a new, local resource for individuals who have, or think they may have had COVID-19, hospitalised or not; and are experiencing ongoing residual symptoms and effects of this.

The booklet aims to provide people across D&G with a suite of consistent guidance to assist them in self-management techniques for some of the more common effects of COVID-19.

Accessing healthcare during COVID-19
If you have any questions about coronavirus or the potential impact of it on your health or work, please visit NHS Inform or phone the coronavirus helpline on 0800 028 2816.

If you think you may have a coronavirus infection and are unwell (requiring medical attention) please phone NHS 24 on 111 - do not contact your GP. This is to ensure that you get the most appropriate care and to keep other patients safe.

If you have an urgent medical issue (not related to coronavirus) then please contact your practice using the details above.

If you’re wondering how health services are different as a result of coronavirus or which service is right for you - please click here

Do not attend the Waverley Medical Centre unless you have been specifically told to do so by a member of staff. If you have been instructed to attend, please ring the doorbell and wait to be attended to - a member of staff will attend to open the door and will ask your reason for attending the practice.

These measures have been put in place for your protection and to limit the spread of the virus. We thank you for your cooperation at this challenging time.
